We just got a free sample at work but it was for large dogs and my little monster is only 7kg. I am about to move back to a high population tick area and have also found frontline useless in the past. Haggis is a border terrier yet the blighters still get through her coat! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On a similar theme, anyone had much luck with human treatment? I seem to get a few attached now and again too, ugh not nice!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We also find frontline useless, applied it to a tick on a cat the another day and the next thing we knew it was merrily climbing the kennel wall (the tick that is).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We don&amp;#39;t usually recommend vaseline etc as the ticks get stressed as they suffocate and release more toxins into the animal.&lt;/p&gt;
