Cool thanks! Booked our hotel yesterday. Staying at a place called Paskins which one of the vets recommended to me and it looks really nice. Excited now! Not going until November but it's nice to have something to look forward to!

Right ok, we've finally decided on Brighton because it's not to far and I once went for a hen weekend and it was really good fun. Any places reccommended to go visit or hotels to stay at?

never been on Eurostar and havnt been for a long time but I didnt like Paris didnt strike me as being the friendliest of places

We won't be going until November if we do go because that's the earliest I can get time off. I was thinking about Edinburgh. I've heard it's really nice and lot's to see. Will have a look at prices and see what comes out tops.

Just a wee point - this is classed as high season in Italy so will be expensive just now and the exchange rate isn't great so everything will work out much more expensive. Friends just back and coffee was about £3-4, meal out approx £25-30/head. It's also quite hot just now.

Venice is amazing & Rome is even better so well worth a visit!

I went to venice a few years ago in the middle of summer and it really didnt smell, i loved venice you need to go away from the main tourist places and you'l find lovely little cafes and shops.

Saying that i've been to rome as well which was lovely so i think either one would be a good choice (not much help am i?)

Yeah I've heard it's a bit smelly. Going to look into Rome a bit more. My sister went the other year so think I'm going to question her about it. Maybe should ask the bf what he thinks aswell

In that case my vote would be for Rome - I love Venice as well but it is a bit smelly for me!

In on the border of bucks and oxfordshire. After doing a bit of online research we could go to somewhere like Venice or Rome for 3 nights for £150 each! How cheap is that! Hmm decisions decisions! lol
