Mines is sort of out there a little. It's a song that I find helps me when things are going pear shaped... Candi Staton "You've got the love"and i love it and most people knw that!! Wouldnt want anything sad! I agre with REM "Everybody Hurts". Such a great song!

There's a ballad version of this song, with Ironik in also (I think its on the Radio 1 Live Lounge album too) and it's beautiful, I heard it when I got the phonecall to say my friend had passed away. Very touching song

I dont want sad songs either, I am not a sad person, I am 99% always upbeat no matter what, so sad songs at mine, would def not be fitting.

We had Over the Rainbow by Eva Cassidy for my nans funeral. And we also had one that i think was called Little Wing, can't remember who by. Both of the songs bring a tear to my eye when i hear them now. In fact thinking of them now is bringing a tear to my eye

reminds me of my dead brother and if I could have his funeral all over again, I would play this song when his coffin was leaving the chapel

Needless to say, of course if I was doing it all over again, there would be no funeral, as my darling Stephen would still be alive, and I would still have a brother so I guess this post was a kind of waste of time
