Going from experience, half the time texts are misinterpreted or arent read all the way through! If hes anything like a certain man i know,all he would have read is 'how did the gym fare'.

The worst thing is I've lost a bloody good mate out of all this. NEVER EVER expected this from him, he knows I've been treat badly in the past and has always been my rock through all sorts...yet he decides to play games and he knows I get hurt by things like this

Maybe he's worried about how fast things have gone and he's not sure how to cope with his emotions either!! Remember that blokes are much slower in their emotional development than us ladies, so what may have seemed like a good idea a wee while ago may actually be scaring the poo out of him now!!

Well, I decided to text him and I said

"so...how did the gym fare up against the possibilty of seeing me then"

and he replied

"pretty well"

so I just replied and said "Well nice to know, thanks. What exactly is going on?"

Of ALL people, I did not expect this from him. Why won't he just tell me where I stand instead of playing stupid mind games

Some of my friends do the "playing it cool" thing really well...I don't. I wear my heart on my sleeve and am really open so it's hard, but I'm not being walked all over anymore

It's weird, I went for a drink with a friend of his n he was upset n I didn't realise n I saw another of his friends n I was like have you spoke 2 him he's ignoring me and he was like "Claire, do you not realise he's in love with you" I was like well...no n he said "Claire, I told you 4 years ago" I was like well a lot changes in 4 years lol

N we spoke n he said I was "his kryptonite" lol he said I was always the one he couldn't have and broke his heart every time he saw me and couldn't have me, etc etc. So we've been on tons of dates n spent loads time together since then, and it's been fab. So we'll see. I'd move heaven and earth for this to work, but I guess what's meant to be will be. I'm trying to think positive and hope that in return positivity will seek me out lol

I saw him at the gym, I pretended I hadn't saw him but I could see him watching me (not in a creepy way) and he was trying to make eye contact with me n I just carried on working out hehehe. I bumped into an old friend and we got chatting and he was still trying to catch my eye n I played it cool. lol.

Thanks guys. It wouldn't be so bad except I know fine well he has an early finish today so thats a lie, if he's not interested anymore I'd rather he told me than playing stupid games.

So frustrating I've liked him for years and apparently he's liked me too but never said anything (all his friends and most of my friends knew lol) n know he's being a pain....grrr

Anyway I'm off to the gym with my best mate and I'm sure he'll see what he's missing. Playing it uber cool though, I'm feeling great today my colleagues have been fab and really cheered me up and Nick....you've been a star today and last night
