GGT defo comes into it too as it's the only reason we keep them - I can fax you the instructions if you need them just let me know - hate doing qual control - it takes forever and then if you have problems you have to do it all again - argh!

Equally idexx on the ablve number should be able to send you the instructions - i also remember that once mixed the solution needs to be inverted several times regulalry over an hour prior to use.

Phone them up and they will fax it thru for you.... can only remember NH3 but Nick is right, you have to have certain slides for certain lamps... we use 6 in total I think.

We have to use particular quality control slides, not just from pre-an slides. These are ordered from Idexx as normal.

this is from the top of my head but wil try!

pre anaesthetic profile, ca and nh3.

take control out of freezer, let thaw

3ml from the clear bottle into the purple top and leave for at least an hour.

on vettest select number 6 (controls)

then select which batch (written on side of bottle)

then run as a normal sample.
