Guess it would depend what they needed it for? She wasn't specific so i made a suggestion that I was aware of as an option for someone who might need it for a litter of kittens to be able to feed or not to feed off their mum.

Hi Stephanie,

I have just blood grouped my boy, got the results today. I used VGL
Davis in California. You simply go online, select the test you would
like, pay using a card, print out the submission form, take a swab,
attach it to the submission form and send it to them. They send you an
e-nail once they receive your sample and then e-mail you again when the
results are ready. They received my sample within 5 days of posting
standard post, and then I got the results about 10 days later. Here's
the link to the blood group test,

http://www.vgl. ucdavis.edu/ services/ cat/

Hope this helps. Got to do the rest of my girls now, my boy carries the
b allelle but that could mean he is Ab or AB. :0(( It can only tell you
for certain if they are bb = b blood group. The test does not
distinguish between Ab and the rare blood group AB.

Also, check it is licensed for use in Bengals, it's not licensed for
some hybrid 'wild' cats. Not sure if that includes Begals though.

Re: Cat Blood Type Testing

the pet blood bank will supply you with feline blood typing kits - but I am not sure which ones they are as am not in work today. They are very easy to use though! But as said above, if you contact them and they dont stock the one you want I am sure they will know where to get it, and they are very helpful
