&lt;p&gt;Guidelines though, or legal requirement? I appreciate that there are guidelines for everything - what I want to know though (regarding that particular poster) is, whether or not it is a legal requirement for it to be on display? If it is a legal requirement, I think most practices (or indeed, places of work in general) are not complying. I have worked for some big (well known) companies &amp;amp; as I said, have never seen this poster. Has everyone else here, got it on display?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;went to hosp, where they told me to take paracetamol and rest it as they thought it was my pull playing up! It was 3 in the morning and she couldnt be a***d to write a prescription so had to wait til I got home for medication. needless to say this was not strong enough it was a few weeks down the line when it was diagnosed as dislocated, ended up being in a lot of pain, physio, meds, off on call etc all because I didnt repect myself.&lt;/p&gt;

Or am I just showing my age? My sister and I used to try to outdo each other carrying 10kg boxes of frozen chips when we worked in hospitality together! I could do 3, not too bad for a 45kg chick! Bit stupid now, in hindsight, but that was when OH &amp;amp; S didn&amp;#39;t exist. I had a huge deviation in my coccyx for ages, got sore standing at concerts etc, having two kids and breaking it when I fell over on a beach putting a wet suit on probably didn&amp;#39;t help! But I had a chiropractor put it back in and havn&amp;#39;t had a problem since. But I do get strange comments from co-workers when I bend zee knees to help pick up patients, 20 years of skiing does your knees no good! Maybe I should self medicate...carprofan anyone? Sorry guys! I find that after standing all day, when I get home and flop on the sofa, it can be really hard to get going again. Sometime&amp;#39;s I&amp;#39;m almost bent double until my back sorts itself out. My feet are sometimes painful too, thank god for proper footwear! &lt;/p&gt;

I find now that if I stand for more than an 8 hour stint my back is killing me and I find it difficult to actually sit down. A lot of the vets who had this rule I noticed spent a good half of the day sat on their ***e - even if they were working.
