I like snakes but like 99% of exotics l do not agree with keeping them as pets.

I hate snakes so creepy and sly and horrible! Poor owners tho hearing the cats screams, i would be horrified!

who leaves a bloody great snake out in the garden unattended anyway. and if it escaped, hes an idiot and shouldn't keep them if he can't keep them under control. Poor kitty cat. and i love snakes i do, but people need to be more responsible!!

I saw a documentary once where some old lady had a lil yorkie..her only companion n next door had a massive snake that escaped and ate it

this is awful! locally some1 had a baby snake and as it grew it would get into bed and 'sleep' next to the woman.

Lady was advised to get rid asap .....................it was sizing her up to eat her!!!!

yes you can! You can chip almost anything!

I think they may have meant x-rayed rather than scanned????

thats a terrible story, however, I read the part where it said the snake was scanned and a microchip was inside but they cannot confirm if it was the cat or not

well, surely if the cat had a microchip, they could have safely said, 'yes, its your cat?', unless the snake also was chipped? the mind boggles

oh - my - god!!! that is really chilling!! what if a child had wondered into the garden!!! good for the bloke trying to change the law... I think snakes are amazing animals.. but I dont think a snake capable of consuming an animal or human should be kept as pets.. they belong where they came from (southeast asia??) .. they grow to about 25ft!!!
