 Am currently training to become A1 assessor for the student nurses (started my course in May), but there&amp;#39;s been loads in the VN times recently about the NVQ structure changing next year. Like Fi said though the assessor qual can be used everywhere so will still be worth doing. I hope they&amp;#39;re still valid, can you imagine the amount of time, effort not to mention money wasted if it&amp;#39;s no longer valid.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I can&amp;#39;t quite believe the cost of the course either. It&amp;#39;s gone up pretty much 20% since I did mine.
