hes done it from day 1 though! when we got them he was odd and took to her straight away even if she wasn't so keen. Am glad other peoples pets do it!! Hope its not an ear infection boosters arew due next week will ask then. Thanks!!

One of my dogs does this to the two others.............. but it usually means they have an ear infection starting, so dont rule that out.

One of my dogs is the same!! He always insists on grooming the other dogs, especially their ears. Rosie, my old Pointer has a tiny wart on her head and he would lick it forever if she let him!!

I do think its just a show of affection!

ye its quite sweet really, they are best of friends, inseperable at times and hes always cleaning her in general but the obssession with her ears is quite cute she starts to sleep while he gets to work with the ears. He gets mad when she wont let him and tries and starts a fight so he can, ahh cats will never really understand whats going on!

tux did this a lot with Poly when she was a kitten, he still does it ever now and then when he thinks she is particularly dirty! Dont think there's a reason for it just making sure that the ears are clean!!
