There is a nurses care plan in the wiki if it is any use >> Education>> Veterinary Nurses Wiki then look at the menue on the right.

If anyone else has care plans they care to add please get them up the more the merrier (with anything that can go in the wiki)

hey, i made my own from the examples i was given in class and from the one in the lane and Cooper book. ivw still got an electronic copy if you want it. :)

I think there is an example form still on this site under the nurses wiki. I developed one for the last practice I worked at, as often you'll find there are bits from the set plans you want to tweak to make them suited to your practice.

I had the same problem and designed my own using Word on the computer using the Jones book as a reference, as they have an example one in there for a dog, it didn't take too long to do. I could send you the one I made, if you like, but I only have it printed out on paper (I lost the memory stick with it on!) so would have to be fax or by post!

I hated having to write about care plans at uni! lol We had to design our own using the activities of living (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roper-Logan-Tierney_model_of_nursing)

It's quite easy to do. Just try to apply them all to animals and make sure they are met. There are some books out there which are all about this particulare model but they are all based on human nursing. There is an article in a journal somewhere which was written by a VN. I can't remember which though. Either VNJ or VN times.

Hey Nurse Annie,

I dont have a template im afraid, but am sure you can design your own, using the activities of living. Have you got the newest edition of the jones, they have some info, cant remember if they have a template in there book.
