Just not sure how to go about booking tickets for all the parks and deciding where to go and what

Re: holiday to florida

We went on honeymoon to florida last July and then weny again in march this with my mum and wee sisters. When on honeymoon we spent a week on I- drive and then a week in Miami - hubby had never been before whereas id been a few times and stayed out there for five and a half years when i was wee - my mum was human nursing out there.

We got our tickets while we were out thereThat we caould pick and choose which parks we wanted to do - its fine if you want to go to all the parks included in the deals but most of the deals with the flexi tickets dont include certain parks. You just turn up at the gait - do not buy them off people that sit in wee stands on I - Drive. If you are going to Discovery Cove - highly recommended pre book your tickets as they only let a certain amount of people in on one day and its all inclusive once in their - breakfast , lunch , beer , drinks snacks everything! Also if you are wanting to swim with the dolphins this must be pre booked - would do it online/travel agents. We missed out on this cos we didnt realise.

Finally you will need a FULL day for each theme park to get round on everything!Highly recommend The Hulk roller coaster at Islands of Adventures.AMAZING!Hubby wouldnt go on it so me and my wee sis went on it!Shes only 12 lol!But then She would go on anything!

We also went to the Everglades when on honeymoon and went on an airboat ride - so much fun!

OOO im so jealous lol!Have fun!

Re: holiday to florida

Ah thank you I thought that might be the case, Have great time bet your super excited as its so close..I cant wait to get away!

Yay!

Just to mention - they don't give the Visa things out on the plane anymore, you need to do them online at least 48 hours before you go or something similar. I will try and find the details for you later.

We are getting our Disney tickets via the Disney shop before we go, just in case!

Re: holiday to florida

The best theme park out there for rides is Busch gardens....lots of roller coasters!!!!!

Re: holiday to florida

Hi Sian

You do need a visa to enter America however these are handed out on the plane for you to complete. They don't cost anything, just make sure you take a pen.

We went last Nov and booked our flexi tickets in advance which was cheaper than buying at the parks by about 75%. You can get "2nd hand tickets from booths that are dotted around. If a ticket has time left on it the man will buy it off the tourist and then sell it on. We sold ours that we didn't activate till 5 days into hol so still had about 5 days left, so not just for 1 or 2 days ( good way to save but can't guarantee availability) . So again this is an option for saving money. You can also try and barter the tickets down from the travel agents as cheaper on line, they will often try to beat the net. Have a fab time.
