&lt;p&gt;Keep trying! As you&amp;#39;ll know SVN places are very popular, so keep on sending your CV out every 3 months or so as this will keep your details when known. You could also try contacting local training providers and colleges teaching animal care/VN as they will often be aware of positions available, even if just to gain voluntary experience.&lt;/p&gt;
