A few months ago my dads mum passed away and it was just awful seeing dad upset,its really hard seeing dads being like that so I can empathise a bit.&lt;/p&gt;

I&amp;#39;m sure your dad appreciates having you around at this difficult time.&amp;nbsp; Even though you live far away there&amp;#39;s always other ways of staying in touch, try not to feel gulty about being far away, phone calls &amp;amp; emails are sometimes just as good.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I always feel sorrier for men who lose relatives, not sure why, just think they don&amp;#39;t cope as well but am sure with your support your dad will get through the sad times.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My friends dad used a site called &lt;a href="http://www.ancestry.com"&gt;www.ancestry.com&lt;/a&gt; &amp;nbsp;to trace his relatives, this might be worth a go? He discovered family he never knew about!&lt;/p&gt;
