My father was an extra on this film - he puts in an appearance for 2-3 seconds quite close to the beginning. Its the first time I have seen it since he died - very strange experience

Re: memphis belle

I remember watching Memphis Belle with an ex boyfriend around V.N exam time..

Re: memphis belle

as I say feels a bit strange - a bit sad yes, but also I remember how chuffed he was to be an extra on that film - very very strange seeing him again I hadnt realised the film was on, the telly was only on as a bit of background noise. I carried on posting on here after his little bit - just didnt want to think about things too much. A good part of it was filmed up at Binbrook close by where I live - we both used to spend hours up there watching the lightnings going in and out when the base was operational and I remember going up there quite a few times while they were filming.

Re: memphis belle

Re: memphis belle

WOW! That was my fave film for years I used to play it over and over again. I still have it in VHS somewhere!
