Maybe it'll pick up soon then, fingers crossed.
For once we are fully staffed and we are the quietist we've been in a while, typical!

Ditto!

But we did have a v quiet period of about 2 wks or so , about 2 months ago...... it's strange, there doesn't seem to be much of a pattern or reasons for quiet / busy periods...........

tell me about it, fighting to clean a kennel, trying to make adressing change last llonger, luckly we are all already crazy

my local practise were the same so started doing free nursing consults to advise on nutrition obesity and any worries clients had with anythin serious being advised to see a veterinary surgeon . They also do a scheme where clients can pick care plans where they pay a little each month and get different things such as nail clipping, boosters free health checks all as an alternative to having pet insurance i think because they also do a six month price plan aswell! Quite good when u think of it!
