Nobody can make someone else happy, you can only make yourself happy in the end. Trying to change yourself and who you are in the hopes of making someone else happy is just going to drag you into the pits of unhappiness and misery. Dont change yourself or even try to, as it will be to your own detriment. Easier said than done i know.

is it a real break up as in you both are free to see who you want? or is it going to be a long distance relationship? If you both are going to break up for good for 6 months in years time then does seem a bit mad to continue just now!

I agree with button and mrs mac do what makes you happy! If you work that out then I think you have the answers you need! Talk to your bf though, maybe ask why hes not as happy?
