 My lovely cat milo has picked up an eye infection. The inner lids are all swollen and pink, and very weepy (conjunctivitis??) but there is also a red spot on the inner lid.. he&amp;#39;s keeping it closed. I use a green tea infusion to freshen up the mouth of incapacitated patients (temporarily paralysed snake bites etc), it has natural antioxodents and has to taste better than dilute chlorohex! &lt;p&gt;Used tea bag has worked on milo :-) the swelling has gone down slightly.. he seems more comfortable too! &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;tea bags are apparently a natural way of reducing swelling around the eyes .. clients who have tried it, said it worked - along with the treatment of course! &lt;/p&gt;
