Times like this that I prefer using Amazon. I know Ebay is great for auctions, etc, but Amazon more structured.

I know! It is very frustrating! If they had made it clear in the first place that this was the T+C for selling tickets I wouldnt have minded its just that it wasnt made clear!

Blimey, I didn't realise that the concert had been and gone. It really isn't fair that you still have to wait for payment.

I'd be tempted to send a friendly 'hope you got the tickets and are happy with them' email to the buyers and ask them if they can leave feedback.

I have sent two! one asking if recieved tickets ok and if enjoyed the concert and another one just asking if feedback could be left! WIsh I hadnt already left feedback might of made him leave it earlier!

Glad you've got it sussed. I've had trouble with ebay/paypal before... well buyes/selles.

Paypal does charge a fee (as well as ebay) - that's how they make their (lots of) money

I dont think so, but I havent given the buyer any reason to give me -ve. I sent it special delivery and have a reciept so know it got there. I just have to wait another 11days till the 21 days is up unless the buyer decides to go online and leave feedback! It is slightly frustrating!

OK - ignore what I have written as I have never sold tickets so didn't realise the t & c's.

What happens if they leave negative feed-back. Will you not get paid for the tickets?

I take it that they were posted recorded or they could say that they didn't get them

Just interested in case I sell any in the future

It sounds like the purchasers may have paid by Echeque if the payment is still pending. You should be able to see this on your paypal account.

They also charge a % on anything that you sell so that is why you haven't got the full amount

I think that I'm right!! but haven't been on ebay for a while

Please ignore my last post I think I may have worked it out, after searching through ebay T+C I found that if your selling tickets then to protect the buyer they dont take payment from the buyer until they leave positive feedback or 21days after payment recieved and no comlaints or issues arise.

Slightly frustrating! should really make that clearer when I was putting up the item up for sale!
