Its available through Telford but you have to register with BVNA first.

I did the BVNA certificate in pharmacy management which hd lots of pharmacology in it, was a couple of years ago though, not sure if it is still running. Took 2 years but loved it - might be wrth giving BVNA a call.

You wont learn any pharmocology with amtra.

yeah - a bit confused by the exaplanation of what it means to be an SOP, and is it just me not understanding it properly or does it seem that as an SQP you don't really have much more in the way of rights in dispensing medications than you generally do in everyday practice at the moment?

...... but would be interested to know of any courses running which gives more understanding in pharmacolgy or veterinary pharmacy - thanks

I think what I was thinking about was a qualification called an 'SQP'- Suitably Qualified Person. It looks as though AMTRA (Animal Medicines Training Regulatory Authority) have been the only organisation able to offer this training and qualification. I found these links just incase anyone else was interested i finding out more about SQP's

cannot find on cpd solutions website but will call them to be sure. Will also get in touch with Telford College to check that out too. Not having much luck doing a google search as only seem to be getting info regarding modules or units of VN training courses.

I thought Edinburgh's Telford college did one but just been on their website & its not advertised, maybe you could get in touch with them just in case its not on there yet.

there was one earlier in the year - which had i continued with nursing I would have attended. Cannot remember off the top of my head but may have been run by either cpd solutions or inspyr
