I lived right next door to the Hillside Dams http://www.hillsidedams.com/history.html and it is full of small kopjes. Page 5 in the gallery with the 2 small buildings (toilets) we lived about 50yards behind them. We didn&amp;#39;t know till they started to go up about them. My folks were furious but couldn&amp;#39;t stop the buildings as it turns out they were never used. Just behind is a raise of ground that is a kopje our house ran part way up it&amp;#39;s base.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Here is some photos of other kopjes, the first is a famous one in matopas known as mother and child the rest are from the matopas but give good shots of how they look. Usually the boulders are multicoloured from the minerals in them also from lichens.:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;me too! I HATE it so much more when it&amp;#39;s dark.
