The rest seem to be alright. There is one little girl I am worried about but I think it may be due to her loosing her mate rather then heat damage as she ate perfectly fine just after I got her temp stabilised.

I have the hose secured to within an inch of its life with duct tape, rope, and the weight of the window. Its not going to be moving again.

Oh Amanda, I am so sorry for you. Just when you need all the help you can get, life kicks you when you are down!
You are not the first person this has happened to and you won't be the last. It was an accident, and can't easily be prevented.
Your two furries will be playing happily over the rainbow bridge with all the others.
Just keep an eye on the remaining chins, and if they seem lethargic, hot, off their food, lacking in urination and defecation take them along for a check up, as heatstroke can affect their internal organs.
