&lt;p&gt;We had a really old greyhound in on Thursday that really needed to be pts. I sat with him in his kennel for a while just stroking him, hoping that he would just fall asleep.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Luckily at the end of the day it was decided that his owners would let him go.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It is very difficult for me right now but thats all I am going to say as I wont take over your thread.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am sure you still miss your nan, thats only normal.&amp;nbsp; What you said about your great grandparents not meeting your children when you have them is the exact same thing I said about my brother.&lt;/p&gt;
