&lt;p&gt;You need a simple spreadsheet to track your outgoings and income so that you can fill in a tax return at the end of the year.&amp;nbsp; They are not that scary.&amp;nbsp; You may wish to use an accountant for this, who shouldnt charge very much for that service.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Keep all your receipts and look at Gov.uk for help with what you can and can&amp;#39;t claim for in your tax return, such as travel costs, uniform etc.&lt;/p&gt;
