Faye, good for you! bet you are the most trusted and respected person in your practice! lets hear it for us old-timers! I am about to clock up 20yrs in the same practice and its just flown by! we often laugh about how things have changed and things we used to take for granted are sometimes a definite no-no now! One thing i do find bizzare is working with Vets who are younger than my children! Now i wonder why i have grey hair!

I think it's great that you found a job you loved straight out of college. It's not sad, wud only be sad if you hated it and stayed cuz you were scared to try new things.

In this day & age, jobs are no longer for life and people change every few years, either because of redundancy, life changes or the need to find their perfect job. I think it is sad when people change frequently as they can't find their perfect job and never seem satisified with any job they have. When your job takes up 40-50% of your life - you want to be happy in it!!

I agree your not sad, but extremely lucky. The sorts of people who say things like that are often just jelous because they've never been happy themselves.

It's the same with relationships, I hate it when bitter twisted women, who've never been happy with one person say it's such a shame that I've been with the same person since I was 17, we've been together for 17 years, and married for 12. Don't listen to them, carry on treating the bad days as what they are, just bad days, live for the good days, and BE HAPPY!

Faye, you have achieved alot,lets face it the whole studying/exam thing isnt exactly a no brainer. Some people say the weirdest things and let stuff out of their mouth without processing it in the brain first.

i agree with heather mac they must be jealous, for all the problems we have i dont think anyone else gets the type of job satisfaction that we do.
