RVNs can perform acupuncture but there must be a vet trained in acupuncture also in the building

Hello, I believe rvn can't perform acupuncture so I found canine massage a nice compromise for helping patients.

I completed a canine massage course with galen myotherpy which has given me so much knowledge. I use this in practice weekly on my consult days and for in patient where requested by vs.

As far as I am aware only for acupuncture. Regarding the acupuncture contact Western Veterinary Acupuncture Group(WVAG) they will train you as an RVN. I did the course earlier this year. You need an acupuncture qualified vet to give the instructions but any vet will be able to oversee you doing the acupuncture thereafter.

I looked into this and was told that a vet in the practice has to be qualified in it to so had to abandon it as no one was interested in it
