Don't know if this will help you or not, but I use paediatric tubing with a circle, effectively makes a paediatric circle suitable for animals less than 10kg. It is narrower and often smooth on the inside.

Based on this I can't see why you can't use it on your mini lack as normal.

Could be worth asking the manufacturer or supply company ( I’ve always found Burtons very helpful!)

Does it look different to the tubing that came with it? I'd have thought it just meant small/skinny/less resistance/dead space, but that's what I would expect to come with a mini lack anyway.
