There are lots opportunities for RVNs to work abroad, some are paid and some are not. I know quite a few nurses who have done work abroad and come back truly refreshed and with a new found passion for their profession.
Have you had a look on kokaburravets.com? They currently have a summer role in Costa Rica you may be interested in, and have had a few orangutang rvn roles over the years. Although not recently due to Borneo being closed for Covid. There are lots of charities abroad who would pay you for a long term role, if you are unsure of where to look please feel free to message me :)

RE: Lack of support from practice , feeling stressed and burnt out

Hi

Ive been there myself! I qualified 10 years ago and ended up dreading going to work and drive home crying most days. I switched to reception and love it!

Before you quit nursing completely why don't you pick up some locums shifts? You may find that you find a practice you really like and want to stay there.

I think that the entire vet profession is on its knees from the pandemic and rapid increase in pet ownership but hopefully we are starting to come out the other side now!
