We had a very uneventful flight back, but I was quite shocked by the amount of storm damage waiting for us in the garden when we got back:

bombing ranges near me recorded a 62mph which was bang on with predicted - our hangars 49mph which are Lincoln way - thankfully short of predicted. So far my home is intact but bracing for round 2. This is actually quite scary.

yep its a bit rough north of Cambridge - bit more bracing than normal. As to hang gliding there are lots of people praying the hangar roof doesn't do exactly that.

I'm off work today as my only route in is a precarious ride along a cliff/hillside on a featherweight motorcycle. Have just lost all the fence panels on one side of the garden as well

all I got with Dudley was a power cut - Eunice could be a bit more bracing
