Yeah I wonder if Bob just wanted us to go back to keep him entertained?!?! I got home about half 7 so not too bad and I have of course finished all of my essays already and am ready for the exams... Lol!! Will keep intouch x

Hiya. It looks like we'll all be staying at the premier inn!! Im coming with another nurse i work with, Monique. Were coming from Chester so were only about an hour away so we'll be coming on the monday morning. Im very excited too but yer very nervous!! Not sure what to expect!! HaHa. I spoke to someone called Bob...he said he'd have to put it thru maggie the manager...eventually returning with then normal rate for the P.Inn but with free full breakfast thrown in!

Thats essantially a £90 discount over the full year

Hi Kathryn! I decided to only book the Premier Inn for this visit as my friend that did the diploma last year gave me the name of a nice B&B which I might stay in next time. I wanted to book somewhere that other people would be staying for our first trip at least! Where are you coming from and what day are you arriving? I am gettin excited now but also very nervous! Hi my name is kathryn i am also on the diploma course! I just saw your post about premier inn and tried to ring them, He told me they dont have any kind of discount policy fo bulk bookings but he said to ring back and speak to maggie (the manager). Did you have to speak to her? How did you manage to get the discount!!!??

Scotland!! There was a girl at the interview day from Cornwall, we really are going to be a mixed bunch!!

I think, by the sounds of it, there will be plenty of us milling around the Premier Inn on Sun night!

I spotted the 8:50am start and have booked the Premier Inn for the sun too - I am not good in the mornings!! So if you are bored on the sun night I will probably be found in the bar...Lol!

Hiya! Im Sarah and i'm on Dip too! Im coming from Huddersfield in West yorkshire (about 70 miles away from M'Cough! I am def travelling on sunday pm and sleepng o'night then no stress (or less of it anyway) for the mon am. I got some papers thru from college on thurs last week saying weve got to be in the reception area 8.50am mon morning.

I dont know anyone else whos gonna be there so am hoping to make friends pretty quick! Maybe we can all go for tea together on monday evening. Guys across the road from prem inn do good meals!

I was sooooo glad to fine this post on here! I start the Dip in Sept too and have been worrying about where to stay! My friend has just finished the DipAVN and stayed in a nice B and B but I thought for the induction it would be good to stay somewhere that other people might be staying!!!

I think looking at the prices I will try and book the Premier Inn, and go for the free Breakfast!

Where is everyone coming from?

Ring back and tell them you want the discount that everyone else is getting add a couple of % onto whatever anyone here has said you can then allow the hotel to knock it off and still get what you want

Vicky it just so happens l have a perfect money making deal. it will cost you £200/month for the first 12 mon ths and after that you take in so much money it feels like you just print it .

NO NICK NO!!!! I haven't seen it and by the sounds of it i don't want to! Hmm you've now got me thinking...god i get freaked out far too easily! My friend told me something years ago about if you look in the mirror at midnight and say 'devil devil devil' the devil would come out...needless to say i try to avoid mirrors late at night! Argh wish i didn't get so easily freaked!

Oh no i should not have watched that...don't like scary things! I'm a bit funny about shower curtains anyway, hate them being left closed cos always think there will be someone behind them! Luckily we have a glass door on our shower! But next time i'm working a night i'll prob get freaked by the shower curtain there
