35hr week. 1 in 12 weekends consisting of both days 11hrs, two days of in leiu. 1 in 12 saturdays, 6hrs. No oncall. BH shared out on those who want overtime.

I was asked how much notice I wanted to work and I said ideally none as that was what they deserved

just finished my very last shift - and would you believe it even on my very last day I still didnt get a break - says it all really. Glad to be out of there, had the best sleep in months last night

not really new boss from last August, there are a few people I will miss but more that I won't - in spite of us being a 'team' I dont feel a part of it anymore 200 hrs in a month when my head nurse is only putting in 136 don't feel much like team work to me

We work 37.5 hours per week with a half hour lunch break (unpaid). Saturdays are classed as overtime and we work 1 in 4 from 8.30-12pm.

My last job was 40 hours per week and 1 weekend in 4. Working weeks (not including your weekend on) were 4 days.

But the 40 hours per week weren't worked out weekly, they were averaged over a 4 week period. Some weeks you did less and some more but it worked out as 160 over 4 weeks.

Have been doing 32 hours since covid with about 1 in 6 Saturday mornings. I've found this a really nice work life balance and it's been lovely to have some time to myself. Going back up to 40 hours soon though, as I need the extra income.

Used to do a 41hr week and 5 days but dropped a day in exchange for 2 normal and 2 longer days

37.5hr week + 1:5 Saturdays. No out of hours.

Usually 36hrs a week & 1 in 4 Saturday's (extra 5.5hrs)

Due to covid rota changes now doing 2 12hr shifts a week, 1 in 3 Saturday's (extra 5.5hrs) no breaks & usually do longer on a sat!

thanks for that - just trying to get an idea of what constitutes full time hours for everybody else. I am permanently knackered and wondering if it is just me getting too old to cope or the hours I am working (42.5 hpw not including OT or missed lunches and every other saturday morning)

Not nursing...but WFH in finance atm... current hours are averaging 40pw. The starting and finishing times vary quite widely depending on need. So I could be at work 6am and finish by 3pm or still be toiling at 10pm! Saturday and Sundays are not sacrosanct either...
