Theres been a few things I have wanted to discuss

RE: 6 month job chat with new boss

Agreed, speak or it'll never change or worse, grow worse.

If anxiety is an issue, why not ask if someone can be in the meeting with you for support?

RE: 6 month job chat with new boss

Hi, I think the best thing to do is write down your concerns.

Start with a big scribble, ideas, little, large, bits, bats...

Then pick out the details that most importantly describe your feelings. Use these to create a 'Bullet Point' style presentation for yourself to follow in conversation with your Boss. This, so you keep on track and don't forget what you need to say through nerves or say too much through nerves!

I've used this method myself successfully. I tend to get too gabby when nervous and babble and go off track and forget what I should say. It's a life saver!

My thoughts on *not* saying anything? Well, you felt strongly enough initially to send the email to start with, so you do really want to talk. So talk and make it count for yourself now you've started! Nothing ever got resolved by hiding.

Good luck.
