Makes me wonder Sal the 1st you saying this... Coz in early December 2020 I too had an annoying cough that went on for weeks through to January... couldn't be ar*ed to do my normal yomping around the Dales as no energy... Missed my Christmas dinner as I was off food and generally 'meh' but eventually the cough and malaise recovered (my Mum had a difficult December and then passed on Boxing Day so put a lot down to that and then bereavement).

But...maybe I had a mild dose of COVID?

I was working in West Yorkshire in a later identified extremely high area of COVID incidence. So it's possible.

This leads me to think perhaps I have already had it (or a variant) and therefore having the vaccination my immune system said "ah-ha! you bugger! I recognise you! Feck Orrff!" And went into High Alert overdrive, turned up the heating systems and booted up the troops!! That's why I felt so sh*te and had to take to my bed but recovered after they'd done their FABULOUS jobs. Yay!!

I might be talking a load off bullocks. Not for the 1st time. But it does give ya pause to think... cripes, they say the 2nd vaccination reaction is worse. Oh heck.
