I hope you are all well during these mental times.
With Tier levels increasing in our local area we are updating our protocols when communicating with our clients who would be visiting the practice. We already have protocols in place setting

RE: COVID/Client Phone Triage Form

Sal - you ok? Its no wonder we can't get a lid on it with numpties like this around

RE: COVID/Client Phone Triage Form

Our locum nurse walked out this week because a vet let an OAP couple in without a mask. He is partially deaf and couldn't hear them with the masks. (his hearing aids are broken and awaiting replacements. we dont use PPE out in the prep room, ad reception not wearing ppe unless in close contact with clients taking payments.

we are still keeping clients out as much as possible but difficult when it was torrential the other day.

RE: COVID/Client Phone Triage Form

and if they answer yes to any of those what then? if one yes means no visit I would pretty much say you have it covered from that list. We are letting people into the building. Limit of 3 in the waiting room. 1person per patient in consults unless pts and then if necessary will accept 2. Routine ops, routine cons, visits, nurse appts all normal. More and more people registering with us because other practices aren't, we use screens, we use PPE and we just get on with it - I am knackered and rapidly coming to the conclusion that those at the top are trying to finish me off one way or another. Totally fed up with angry clients, fed up with other practices ducking out - Fed up with the whole bloody mess. Headache? its one big headache every sodding day. Muscle ache? I am living on painkillers once again. Sorry Apache was reply to OP

RE: COVID/Client Phone Triage Form

I don't understand what you are trying to achieve? What do you mean by "what clients can and cannot do whilst here"?

We are still curbside, so only let in for PTS. Temp checked, masks worn by owner and full PPE for staff. Distancing and screens used.

Do you intend to deny them acess if they have been in a higher tier? Were diagnosed with COVID in November?

If you want to come in then sign register, wear a mask (no exceptions), take temp and ask if well.

Home visits outside for people self isolating with PPE.

I would strongly discurrage the embelishment of the symptoms list (taste, cough, temp on NHS). I'm 38, I can't remember a 2 week period where I didn't have either a headache or body ache at some point........
