certainly wasn't a dig at you, covid has made situations impossible and practices extremely short staffed. we've had to turn away all our ems students and concentrate on all our own staff.

I’m admittedly only a victim of my own negativity And this has really built up over the last few months so I really needed to vent. I have reached out to college through email and phone since the beginning already (and was hopefully going to get some kind of update in November), but obviously the pandemic has left a lot of us with little to no idea as to what will happen next

don't have the victim mentality, you will do this you will get through it. if you want it badly enough you will get it. small goals, baby steps.

speak to college, phone work. be proactive bt not pushy, they may be thinking you're not interested.

Don't give up if its your dream to pursue a career as a veterinary nurse! There are many of us who have had a tough time with it and I didn't have an easy time with my training!

Everything that could go wrong did! I had an amazing head nurse who still is my inspiration and encouraged and believed in me. I qualified after lots of hurdles and stress and have been many years in the profession, juggling work with being a single mum and further studies and it is doable and I still have down days and days with massive job satisfaction.

Work on your self, be realistic and honest with people, your friends your work and your family .

Set your self little goal I find having a diary and planning out day by day what I need to do and seeing it ticked off is a great sense of achievement and helps you see light at the end of the tunnel.

Good communication is also key, speak with your college tutor and your work be persistent so you know where you stand.
