I think a tried and tested section for equipment is definitely important - it might prevent a lot of expensive mistakes and over reliance on equipment that isn't up to snuff - might encourage some of the manufacturers to sort out some of the problems as well instead of denying all knowledge

adverse reactions may also be useful - 'tales of the unexpected'

drug shortages, equivalents and discontinued - 'rationing, make do and mend '

rabbits - 'dummies guide to Bugs bugs'

making the most of inhouse diagnostics - aka look how much money I am saving you, I need a wage rise

I think Ben Ogden has me well and truly beaten! I can't compete with those punchy titles. I especially love ‘cytopoint vs apoquel - fight!’ That one made me laugh. I find these kinds of things hard because I have weird interests, but a few things I often see discussed are:

- whether to re-use ET tubes

- how to cut down on plastic usage

- what should be considered reasonable pay / working hours

- what to do when you disagree with a vet

- how to get protocols updated when no one else sees the need

- students looking for support and advice

- alternative careers for RVNs

- advice about certificates / further qualifications

- raw feeding (generally asking for how best to do it and what diets to use)

- CPD recommendations

- equipment recommendations

anyways with this in mind I would like to suggest a review thread for those little gifts that grateful clients bring in for us to let us know we are appreciated. Would love to review the box of chocolates a client brought in for me this week (yes my own personal box of chocolates) but when I asked everybody about them they denied all knowledge (rotten buggers) - but the shortcake was nice - M+S 10/10 nicely presented, good buttery taste not too crumbly or sweet

I’ll always pick behaviour topics, I could talk about any subject there till ‘insert local saying’.

Medical Or Surgical nursing topics always seem to get a lot of traction, maybe start with one of those?
