Fast forward 3yrs, the problem with my hip (which needs replacement) is now a lot worse , in addition I now had a bursa which is either drained or injected with hydrocortisone periodically and I can hardly walk. Had a bursectomy and a tendon fenestration done privately while I wait on hip replacement on NHS - surgeons comment ' do us both a favour and lose the crocs'

RE: What are you wearing on your feet?

I've had surgery on my knee years ago and it still causes me problems. I know wear sketchers, have had the black go walk trainers but currently wear they're own version of crocs - sketchers clogs - they are soooo comfy my feet don't ache by the end of a busy day!!

RE: What are you wearing on your feet?

Nearly all the nurses I work with wear trainers. Find a pair with good support and are light. Skechers are good, I've worn them for years. I've recently switched to Reebok/Nike trainers (in all black of course), just because they are lighter than skechers and my knees cope a bit better!

RE: What are you wearing on your feet?

i wear tolkien ultralight clogs, they are ok.

I had problems with my feet that lasted for weeks after I was furloughed, and I realised it was the Crocs causing it. I wear Sketchers at work now, and I haven't had any issues since. I wouldn't be ok with staff in 'trainers'.

Not a formal policy but all vets and nurses wear pull on leather boots

https://www.dickiesworkwear.com/uk/dickies-contract-safety-dealer-boots-fa23345a

Comfortable and easy to pull on and off to change.

Have seen a lot of nurses in Crocks.

RE: What are you wearing on your feet?

I have sketchers.
