Yes, absolutely. I wonder if nutrition should really be a subject in its own right. Probably yes, but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew at the moment (no pun intended) - lots of work to be done configuring the rest, and we can aways split nutrition out from medical nursing later.

Just regarding Industry-status nurses... those working in pet nutrition spring immediately to mind.

Although that's not on your existing list specifically, this topic could be included under medical nursing I feel. If there are any questions relating to a nutritional program for a patient (e.g. questions relating to a diet for a renal patient, or anallergenic diets, for example).

I was thinking more of the vets that typically run the tech support for the drug companies - not sure how many nurses are in that role.

The experts / expert forums are for the areas listed under 'Interests' in the main navigation, namely:

anaesthesia and analgesia
behaviour
dentistry
dermatology
diagnostic imaging
equine
exotics
ECC
Lab/clin Path
Medical Nursing
Physio
Surgical nursing
wound management

Those are the ones i am starting with. I certainly don't rule out others, in the sorts of areas you mention, but this is the starting point. Paper qualifications are not always necessary, in some cases experience is enough.

Question... I am presuming this* isn't what you mean by 'expert' and would be kept to the regular forum?

Me, as a non-paper but life experienced qualified 'expert'

*employment, locum work, finances, HMRC (I was a tax officer in a former career. Also a Bank Manager too...)

Or would I be considered as a Life Experience Expert in any of these fields? Just don't want to confuse matters for everyone as I don't have the 'paper' qualifications behind me (unless you count Bankers Examinations from circa 1982 - well out of date now, we didn't we even use calculators just hand cranked adding machines!).

Happy either way. Just exhibiting my Mother Goose, caring, sharing, guiding and here's the information you need skills...
