Hi, this is certainly a hot topic in pet nutrition! There is currently no reason to suspect that grains are bad. In fact, grains can be highly nutritious and are also a more sustainable source of nutrients than animal based sources. Do check out the link from the previous post as the FDA has launched an investigation into grain free diets and their link with DCM in dogs.

Commenting because I get a lot of owners say they feed grain free although they are not too sure why other than "that's what the breeder told me to do", so would be interested to hear others views.
