Good idea to change doc's and get a second opinion. As previously said, even with low normal hormone references it can still mean you're functioning abnormally. References are an averaged range not specific to you.

Fingers crossed for ya lovely lass. Get well soon.

Thyroid bit low but not enough to treat, i would go back and explain just how tired etc you are and ask to trial thyroid meds. I had to fight my doc to get treatment for hypothyroidism two blood tests 6 months apart before i finally got some treatment. Does not solve all of the tiredness issues straight away but at least i can now make it through lunch time without needing a nap!

[/quote]

I second this if things aren't improving then worth pestering re thyroid again. My mum had low normals at GP for long time but had classic symptoms. Eventually got referral to endocrinologist who dx hypothyroidism even with 'normal' blood tests. She has been on meds for a while now & feeling much better. I think mild depression can also manifest with general 'meh' & lack of energy so still worth considering

RE: quick energy boost

Keep your chin up, lovely lass.
