Unfortunately we still see cases on a fairly regular basis. had one on Sunday evening. If they are caught early, sedation and charcoal flush works well. But if owner waits - well the result is often very different.

Why do they still produce these pellets- they have keep away from children and pets in very small writing on back . Too small for me to read without my glasses!

The owners of the two dogs I nursed believed the next door neighbour had dumped a massive pile over he garden fence, we kept well outta that!

Its just so sad, but how do we know where these pellets are?They could really be anywhere x

Back in the days of me being in GP I spent a whole weekend nursing two dogs that got metaldehyde posioning, both survived luckily althou a few hairy momments. They spent most of the weekend sedated with Sagatal and ACP.....
