I'll let you know when I hear, though I don't think it'll stretch as far as billboard-sized!

Meantime, has anyone yet spotted one of these posters in the wild yet? From what I hear, they were due to be posted at the end of last week to all practice principals. Will be very interested to hear when someone has actually seen one in the flesh.

RE: New RCVS waiting room poster - whaddyathink?

My only question is when is a better file format being released?
I love you!

(is that a bit OTT? Oh well!)

Seriously, I hadn't thought about that. What a great idea to put them in registration packs. Genius.

RE: New RCVS waiting room poster - whaddyathink?

I love this poster!
Thanks Alison - along with various people at the College, I put quite a lot of work into it, so I'm really chuffed to see it seems to be going down well.

I'll be interested to know when the hard copies arrive at the practice - should be this morning or tomorrow. I hope some of you might even get it framed .

So good to have something 'official' that just might help to remind some people that veterinary practice only works if it's a partnership - practice/pet/owner - the results only happen if everyone plays their part.

I think the 'five freedoms' are sadly underplayed day to day although I also appreciate it can be a difficult subject to bring up - particularly with a client who's already on the defensive - and particularly with rabbits and small furries - where the conversation can go along the 'how much? - I can buy another one for less than that' or 'I don't have the time/money/space to do that'. It's hard not to say that the pet did not ask to live with them, and they weren't forced to take on a pet!

So, back to the poster! It reminds owners that they have a responsibility for the animals they've taken on. What's not to like?
