Much more valued, better pay, better utilised and much more career progression. My mum has now worked her way up to band 8 and has recently applied for a position as director of nursing at 70k per annum so yeah much more career opportunities. I have been in veterinary 17 years and only just left at 34 as gone no where in my career and practices don&amp;#39;t even let us use our skills so time for a change!!&lt;/p&gt;
