I have locum for 4 years and been to practices that have not had a nurse or been able to find a nurse for over 12 months.</p> <p>There is a huge shortage. I am actually leaving nursing as well to go back to university in March, it&#39;s a shame really as worked in veterinary 16 years and works so hard for my RVN status but it is what it is unfortunately.&nbsp;<img src="/emoticons/new/Thinking_smiley.gif" alt="Exasperated" /></p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
