I’m leaving my job and I handed my notice in on the 30th of January and I have to give 2 months notice.
To me 2 months from that date is the 27th of March but HR are saying I have to work till the 30th March.

If you have any holiday left then you could perhaps use that if you needed to finish sooner - you still build holiday allowance in your notice period.

RE: 2 month notice period

Depends on exactly what your contract says.

If it's two months then it will be the 30th March.

If it's done in weeks (8weeks) it will be be the 27th.
