We got Animana last year & I have mixed feelings about it. On the whole it's pretty user-friendly & mostly decent enough BUT

- Make sure you have good internet connections. We have issues as our EFTPOS machine uses the same socket & causes interference so every time we put a payment through it causes the internet to stop working for a few seconds. If you lose your internet then you can't access the cloud.

- when doing insurance forms you can't create one invoice for a chosen time period - you have to select each invoice separately & manually add them up.

- if you have idexx lab equipment it's great to have them connected so the results automatically attach to the patient file BUT ours seems to lose it's connection regularly so have shut down to re-connect it.

- you can only have one supplier saved for each product.

- finding deactivated/deceased files can be difficult.

- Our label printer is attached to reception computer & all the other computers send labels to be printed to it but often they just stop coming through if sent from one of the other computers and we don't know why - may not be directly due to animana though.

Their support folk are really nice & helpful though.
