I can't answer your question but it makes me wonder whether they will move to record the tasks (unless they do already) to get second opinions from another examiner.

RE: osce results today!!!

Heya, I found that they have been extremely picky with OSCE's this year. I have failed due to pathetic little things the examiner saying I didn't do certain points in the task when I know I did. I have a hearing impairment which I informed them off. I am going to appeal myself, worth a try

RE: osce results today!!!

I know how frustrating it may feel at the minute if you can't get onto the March resits but just think if you have to wait until the June/July resits you have so much more time to perfect your technique and really nail em the next time round. I know of a few people that have appealed and none of them have been successful

RE: osce results today!!!

just like to reiterate, whilst I am obviously deeply upset/frustrated/pi$$ed off at failing, it is only because I genuinely am confused/unsure as to how this step was marked as not achieved, when I am 99.9% I did it correctly. also, I am THE nurse who does all ear swabs/ wound swabs etc at work, every week.another point, I ran out of time on the ear bandage task, there was white soff ban showing, and I didn't check the tension, but that was a pass??!!
