just giving the heads up - two clients who usually have a written script and buy online came in today and have been unable to get vitofyllin from their usual places both 50mg and 100mg. Libeo 40mg short supply online as well apparently

Actually......

A lot of it is Brexit related. One of our clients works in Dechra's manufacturing plant for Vetoryl and they have had endless headaches importing ingredients and exporting products since the Brexit ball got rolling. A lot of customs based issues since article 50 was triggered.

I genuinely don't understand how Brexit can be to blame when it hasn't happened yet :S having said that I am not up to date with politics at all and don't really understand much of it.

Our NVS to follow list is getting longer every day todays includes muzzles, water for inj, pred, kong toys and Tralieve

the dates of stock expected keeps changing as well, Tralieve was meant to be available from yest

We can't get Loxicom injectable, Vitbee injection, 30ml surolan and 30ml prokolin (15ml is fine), Malacetic Aural, Alvegesic, 25ml canaural, and now ACP is low. Our NVS driver said it's to do with Brexit.

we have 2 or 3 items on our shelves which we source as generics under cascade (eye treatment, epilepsy and heart meds before anybody asks) I usually get these through our regular supplier or we write a prescription. Without exception I have found these cheaper -and I mean a lot cheaper elsewhere. How about 1 pack of tablets from regular supplier costing nearly 6 times the cost of the same pack from a pharmacy in this country.I know companies need to make a profit but that is taking the pee. I can see a time when practices will only keep emergency levels of drugs and write scripts for everything else.

in total I think there are 11 items

? carprox is back now?

if nothing else i am getting bloody good at finding alternatives and alternative sources
