Operation Christmas dinner is well under way here (I have to transport Christmas to my Mother's). Pheasant, chicken and chipolatas and stuffing all cooked to perfection ably guarded by Jasper cat. Potatoes boiling for mash, will whip a few out for roasties. Peas in soak and carrot and swede all ready to cook, Sprouts are still glaring at me but not sure I am brave enough to forget them. Gammon cooking in apple juice in slow cooker.

I am reliably informed that the CAA have once again issued an exemption for Rudolph and co so they can legally enter UK airspace (apparently they are all red/green colour blind so shouldn't be night flying) - yep Christmas is good to go

RE: Merry Christmas everybody!!!

You beat me to it Ali, but a very happy Christmas to you all. I've just finished par boiling the potatoes for tomorrow's roasties, and touch wood this looks like the first Christmas in years that we won't wind up in A&E with my daughter ... although I probably shouldn't tempt fate!
