&lt;p&gt;As for the dictaphone... i looked at some the other day, but dont think i am ready to listen to my own voice everyday. What a dreadful thought, dont think i could stomach that.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We made a deal today, i cornered him in the car and asked him outright about me going on call with him daily... asked him how long he is prepared to put up with me and he said &amp;quot;until you fire me&amp;quot;. So we made a deal that this will continue until i either fire him or he fires me. Fair enough i guess lol. Tape your notes, etc while driving between cases, at home type them up and print them or email them to admin lady for printing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And as Gillian has said, be open with him.
